Welcome to The Bay Metro Transit Authority!
While it is our goal to serve all county residents, the needs of seniors and the disabled will be assigned a special priority.
New Bus Service Starting August 30, 2010-the beginning of the Fall Semester-Bay Metro will offer a new bus route that takes students, faculty, and the general public from the Bay City Meijer to the Delta and SVSU campuses. For the new service, buses will run from the Meijer on Wilder Rd (designated park-n-ride area) Monday through Thursday 7:00am until 10:10pm and Friday 7:00am until 4:05pm. The last bus will arrive back at the lot at 11:00pm. Departures will be every half-hour and ride time is about 15 minutes to Delta and 30 minutes to SVSU. The Meijer park-n-ride area will be between the gas station and the store. To start, 30 parking spaces will be available, with plans of also putting in bike racks. Cost per ride is 75 cents for students, 50 cents for seniors and disabled, and $1.00 for all others. |
